Abstract
As AI development accelerates, the releases of DeepSeek-V3 and R1 raise fundamental questions about AI accessibility, geopolitical dynamics, and the future of AI development. This presentation dissects the public narrative surrounding DeepSeek’s achievements, published research, industry speculation, and media amplification. We’ll analyse the key concepts behind today’s leading reasoning models, and explore their implications.
To wrap up we will discuss how DeepSeek’s developments reshape economic and geopolitical dynamics.
