About Special Interest Groups
Within CAIML, there exist several Special Interest Groups that share a common interest, expertise, or focus on specific topics. SIGs are formed to facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking among individuals who have specialized knowledge in a particular field.
About CAIML
The newly founded Center for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (CAIML) aims to bundle and strengthen research activities in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning both in their foundations and applications and to establish TU Wien as a center of excellence for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The center consists of three thematic pillars: methods of symbolic AI, methods of machine learning, and explainable AI and AI aspects in the context of digital humanism. The CAIML board comprises twelve internationally renowned researchers from the Department of Informatics and the Department of Mathematics and Geoinformation at TU Wien.
