iCAIML PhD student Ahmadou Wagne presented a poster at ACM RecSys24 on “What to compare? Towards understanding user sessions on price comparison platforms,” co-authored with Julia Neidhardt (TU Wien, Christian Doppler Laboratory for Recommender Systems). The research sheds light on the diverse behaviors of users on price comparison platforms, identifying six distinct session clusters, from “quick peek” to “heavy browsing.” These insights aim to improve the integration of conversational recommender systems (CRS) by ensuring a better understanding of user needs.
Additionally, Ahmadou gave a presentation at the KaRS workshop titled “Can We Integrate Items Into Models? Knowledge Editing To Align LLMs With Product Catalogs.” This exploration highlights the potential of knowledge editing in large language models to enhance the accuracy and alignment of product information.
